East Launceston
One of Launceston's most established inner-city suburbs, East Launceston is known for its character homes, tree-lined streets and excellent proximity to the CBD. Local cafes, schools and parks are close by, along with the Launceston Aquatic Centre and City Park. Newstead's shopping precinct is also nearby, while much of East Launceston is only a few minutes from the centre of the city. Its combination of period homes, established streetscapes and central location has made it one of Launceston's most recognised residential areas.
